HOLTEC TER AT I O AL Krishna P. Singh Technology Campus, 1 Holtec Blvd., Camden, NJ 08104 Telephone (856) 797-0900 Fax (856) 797-0909 As discussed in email [3], Holtec will submit the response to the RAls in two batches. Holtec's responses to NRC staff RAis designated as Batch 2 and supporting information are in the attachments to this letter.

Attachments 1 and 2 to this letter contains responses to the RAis in Batch 2 in proprietary and non-proprietary versions. Changes to the Certificate of Compliance (CoC) Appendices A and B as a result of the RAI responses are contained in Attachments 3 and 4 respectively. Additionally, revised FSAR pages to support the RAI responses are included as Attachments 5 and 6 in proprietary and non-proprietary versions. Changes related to these pages in response to the RAis are highlighted in yellow. Both the CoC Appendices and FSAR chapters were updated to include the changes approved in Amendment 4. These changes are not marked as revisions, since they are not part of the proposed changes for Amendment 5. Attachments 7 and 8 contain the Holtec thermal and shielding proprietary reports, which support the RAI responses. Attachments 9 and 10 contain the data files which support the thermal and shielding analysis reports. Since some of the attachments to this letter are considered proprietary, an affidavit pursuant to I0CFR2.390 requesting that this information be withheld from public disclosure is included as Attachment 11.
