Enclosed is a copy of the final After Action Report (AAR) of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP) MS-1 exercise, conducted in the.County of San Luis Obispo, Califorpia l

The purpose -of the MS-1 exercise was to assess the level of local* preparedness in responding-to a radiological event-occurring at or within the' vicinjty of the pCPP emergency planning zone. The final AAR was prepared in coordination with the DCPP Offsite Response Organizations (ORO).

No Level 1 or Level 2 Findings were identified during the M~-1 exercise.

Based on FEMA's evaluation of demonstrated criteria for the August 07, 2019, MS-1 exercise,the capabilities*.ofthe affected OROs are adequate to provide continued reasonable assurance.

Reasonable assurance is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations,Title 44 § 350.5(b) as "assurance that appropriate_ measures can be taken off site in the event of a radiole>gical emergency".
