Dear Mr. Rawl:

By application dated April 11, 1980, Technical Operations Incorporated requested renewal of NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9039 for the Model No. 715 package. The applicatien also requested that the package designs be issued an IAEA Certificate of Competent Authority as a Type B(U) package Based upon our review of the application, we have concluded that the package (Model No. 715) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9039 meets the IAEA requirements for Type B(U) packages.
