Dear Mr. Rawl:

By application dated February 1,1980, Technical Operations, Inc., rea.ested a Certificate of Compliance for the Model No. 900 package. The application also requested that the package design be issued on IAEA Certificate of Competent Authority as a Type B(U) package.

Based upon our review of the application, we have concluded that the package (Ndel No. 900) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9141 meets the requirements for Type B(U) packages.
