EVALUATION OF PROPOSED AMENDf1ENT TO AIR FILTER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MAINE YANKEE PLANT, DOCKET N0. 50-309, AMENDMENT NO. 29 By letters dated January 27, 1977 and March 19, 1980, the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company proposed to amend its operating license DPR-36 for the Maine Yankee Plant by submitting Proposed Change No. 29.

The proposed amendment added specification 3.22 to establish Limiting Conditions for Operation and 4.11 to establish Surveillance Requirements, relative to installed filter systems to the Maine Yankee Technical Specifications.

The licensee's proposed specifications do not comoletely conform to the Standard Technical Specifications and we have suggested changes that we believe would make it acceptable.

These are each discussed in the enclosed safety evaluation and environmental determination for the proposed amendment (Enclosure 1). is the Technical Specifications submitted by Maine Yankee but modified by us to meet the intent of the Standard Technical Specifications. is the Technical Specifications as submitted by Maine Yankee.
