Cornell University hereby requests a 20-year renewal of License No. R-80 for the TRIGA reactor, the current license for which expires June 29, 1980.
We will be forwarding a complete application for renewal demonstrating that the facility, its com-ponents and systecs,can be safely operated over the 20-year renewal period. This application will conform to the requirements of the applicable parts of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, and to the applicable specific items addressed in letters to us of June 28, 1978, and February 2, 1979, from Mr. Robert W. Reid of the Division of Operating Reactors.
