Effect of a DC Power Supply Failure on ECCS Performance

Dear Sir:

Reference (b) requested that Vermont Yankee determine whether certain conclusions reached by a General Electric study forwarded by Reference (b) are applicable to Vermont Yankee.

In addition, a schedule for our response was requested.

Vermont Yankee will review the conclusions of the General Electric study in question as they specifically apply to our facility.

Consistent with our carrent commitments, particularly for post TMI related work, we expect to submit the results of this review by October 1, 1980.
