Dear Mr. Miller,

West Virginia University is currently licensed, under License No. R-58, for possession, but not use of an AGN-211 F Nuclear reactor.

On 30 May 1979 we applied for a 12 months extension of that license to allow time for de-commissioning.

During those twelve months, a decommissioning plan has been submitted, the reactor dismantled and the com-ponents and fuel placed in a storage vault in the building which had housed the reactor.

We now wish to apply for an additional six months extension of our license to permit the transfer of the fuel and such components of the reactor as they may find useful to a suitably licensed party.

The University of Oklahoma has already submitted an application for this purpose.

Sincerely,

. }T,{.. '
