In light of your determination that no prejudical delay will result from deferring your decision on this petition due to the lack of construction at Callaway Unit 2, the Commission would like to be notified of any acceleration in the construction schedule at that Unit.

This is to ady'se you that four Commissioners have agreed that there is no need for a review of this interim decision of the Director, Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). They have also approved dispatch of the proposed memorandum from the Secretary to the Director, NRR (copy attached for ready reference).
Comissioner Gilinsky did not participate in this action.
The Office of the General Counsel was informed of this action by telephone on April 17,1980.
