The Board reaffirmed it's position that the'" Spent" Nuclear fuel or " Waste"'should be transported on the Inter-state Highways. This action was at it's meeting on April 8, 1980.

Commissioner Russell L. Dellinger introduced the following motion:
Motioned by Russell L. DcIlinger that the County hereby resolve that it is opposed to the movement of
" Spent Nuclear Fuel or " waste" over the roads through Lincoln County.
The roads are narrow,a.nd winding and in i
many cases in bad condition increasing the chances of an accident much more than staying on better roads such as the inter-state highways.
