Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1)

Docket Number 50-289 Operating License Number DPR-50 Clarification to Section 2.0 of the TMI-l Restart Report Section 2.1.2.1.1 (Pages 2.1 - 31) describes an interim method of deter-mining iodine concentrations in effluents and commits to providing procedures to accomplish this before restart.

It does not however make it clear that the necessary equipment will be available before restart. The equipment will be available before restart.

Section 2.1.2.7.3 (Pages 2.1 - 45) describes short-term methods to be i

used to monitor high levels of radioeffluents.

The equipment necessary t.o implement these methods will also be available before restart unless replaced by the long-term high range monitors described in Section 2.1.2.7.2.
