Dear Mr. Tuma:
As discussed in our February 22, 1980 telephone conversation, the purpose of this letter is to authorize work by Williams-Robinette and Associates on the environmental review of the Dawn uranium mill in Ford, Washington.
The scope of their review will be limited to the geohydrological investigation-of the environmental impacts associated with an existing above-grade tailings impoundment and a proposed below-grade tailings pit.
The review will involve at least one site visit and several days of review effort.

please let me know and I can provide one after our site visit which is scheduled for the end of this month.
