In the latest referenced letter we agreed to inform you "on the status of the matter at approximately 60 day intervals until the problem is resolved".
We have decided not to attempt to modify the existing check valves, but to replace them with Rockwell International control closure piston check valves.
These valves have been purchased and a six month delivery promised. The pres-sure surge of these valves is within acceptable limits and it is being included in the stress analysis, nata 11ation should be completed by October 31, 1980.
This is considered I linal report on this subject.
