SUBJECT:
SUMP"tY OF MEETING TO DISCUSS SNUPPS QA PROGRAM FOR DESIGN AND t.:NSTRUCTION A meeting was held on February 8,1980 with SNUPPS utility representatives in Bethesda, Maryland to discuss the SNUPPS QA program. The SNUPPS utilities had recently submitted the current version of-the SNUPPS QA program for design and construction.'for our review of the changes made to the program since
' completion of the CP review. As a result of our review of these changes, we had sent out a requeit for additional information, dated January 22, 1980.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss this request. The meeting attendees are listed in the 2nclosure. The meeting is summarized as follows.
Summary The 3NUPPS utility representatives stated that some of the questions raised in the January 22, 1980 request for information were in areas of the QA program that had not changed since the completion of the CP review. Also, work in these areas has essentially been completed. Therefore, their responses to these questions and the subsequent staff review would appropriately reflect these considerations. Each of these related questions ( tem Nos. 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8,- 9 and-11) were discussed and a preliminary indication was provided of what their response would be to some of these questions. The SNUPPS utility representatives stated that they would respond to our request for information in the near future.
