This docu>vient is an Open File Report (79-1545) by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) on the hydrogeology of the Sheffield site.
The purpose of the study by the USGS is to quantitatively evaluate the hydrogeologic conditions and relate them to the mobility of waste nuclides in the ground water.
The information is considered potentially relevant and material because it contains the preliminary USGS interpretation of hydrogeologic data they have collected at the site through July, 19,7,9 q
