SUMMARY

800s200651g The Unit was shut down the entire month by order of the NRC. Core cooling was provided by the "B" Decay Heat System.  !

Major Safety Related Maintenance - April The following major safety related maintenance was performed during April:

] BWST Heater Repairs While the BWST was empty, meggar and resistance checka of the BWST heaters were performed. The results of these checks in-dicated that one heater was grounded, and the other had very low meggar readings. The grounded heater was replaced with a spare, and the other heater was repaired.

BWST Lower Manway Repair In the process of filling the BWST, the lower manway was found to be leaking.

The tank was drained and a new manway gasket and sealant comoound was installed. The manway was replaced and torqued and tank was refilled. The manway was leak checked and found to be leak tight.
