Enclosed is the U.S. Geological Survey Quality Assurance Program for 10 CFR 71 Shipments of Radioactive Material for your review and approval.
It is not the intent of the Geological Survey to become engaged in the design and construction of shipping casks.
Current plans are to use existing casks, e.g.,
General Atomic Company cask for TRIGA fuel, that have been approved by the
!TRC.
