Meeting with NRC Staff (Open) - The Committee will hear and discuss an interim report regardirg procedures for low power testirg of the Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1.

Executive Session (Open) - he Committee will hear and discuss the report of its Subcommittee and consultants who may be present regardirg proposed modifications of nuclear power plants to resolve questions related to anticipated transients without scram (AWS).

Saturday, April 12, 1980 8:30 A.M. - 4:0_0 P.M.:
Executive Session (Open) - he Committee will complete discussion of and p epare its reports to the NRC regarding matters considered during this meeting. In addition the Committee will complete preparation of reports to the NRC regarding clarification of its report dated December 18, 1979 regarding the pause in licensing of nuclear facilities and the conceptual design of a core ladle for the l
Floating Nuclear Plant.
'Ihe Committee will hear and discuss reports / comments of subcommittees and members regarding a ntsnber of safety related items such as the reduction in the departure from nucleate boiling ratio (DNBR) for Combustion Engineering, Inc. nuclear steam supply systems; proposed charges in NRC Regulatory Guides; and miscellaneous Committee activi-ties.
Procedures for the conduct of and participation in ACRS meetings were published in the Federal Register on October 1,1979 (44 FR 56408).
In accordance with these procedures, oral or written statements may be pre-sented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted only durirg those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and ques-tions may be asked only by members of the Committee, its consultants, and Staff. Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the ACRS Executive Director as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements. Use,of still, motion picture and television cameras during this meeting may be limited to selected portions of the -
meeting as determined by the Chairman.
Information regarding the time to be set aside for this purpose may be obtained by a telephone call to the ACRS Executive Director (R. F. Fraley) prior to the meetirg.
In view of the passibility that the schedule for ACRS meetings may be adjusted by the Chairman as necessary to facilitate the conduct of the meeting, persons planning to attend should check with the ACRS Executive Director if such rescheduling would result in major inconvenience.

I have determined in accordance with Subsection 10(d) P.L.92-463 that it is necessary to close portions of this meeting as noted above to protect Proprietary Information (5 U.S.C. 552b(c) (4)).
Further information regarding topics to be discussed, tether the meeting has been cancelled or rescheduled, the Qiairman's ruling on re-quests for the opportunity to present oral statements and the time allotted therefor can be obtained by a prepaid telephone call to the ACRS Execu-tive Director, Mr. Raymond F.
