Claim Abstract #69 Boston Edison Company Re: Edson Brooks D/0:

1977 ("Various" Dates)

Dear Mr. Saltzman:

We have just been informed that a suit has been brought by Mr. Edson Brooks against Boston Edison Company in the Superior Court, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, in which he alleges that while working on the premises of Boston Edison Company at the site of the Pilgrim fluclear Power Plant in Plymouth, Massachusetts, during different dates in 1977, he was subjected to unusual and excessive amounts of radiation. This exposure allegedly was attributable to the failure of the defendant to provide proper protective clothing, failure to adequately maintain the premises, and failure to warn the plaintiff of the dangers involved in his work at the nuclear power plant.

We are proceeding to investigate this claim and defend the liti-gation on behalf of our policyholder.

Very truly yours,
