proposals for additional GEIS support from Stanley Consultants and Colorado State University (CSU). Approval of the CSU proposal from John D. Nelson dated March 28. 1980, authorized.
in the amount of $15,350 is herebyz Also, we foresee the need for additional work by Stanley Consultants to provide further assistance in the following areas of evaluation:
- 1) Neutralization of tailings;
- 2) Recontouring, movement, and reprocessing of tailings piles;
- 3) In-situ dewatering techniques;
- 4) Staged reclamation; and
- 5) Nitric ecid leaching We have discussed these matters with Loren Furland of Stanley and the cost for these efforts will be about $10,000. This will include Mr. Furland working in our offices from April 14, 1980, through April 18, 1980. You are hereby authorized to approve a Stanley proposal for the subject work in an amount not to exceed $10,000.
