Dear Mr. Scott:
In TEXPIRG's last set of interrogatories to the Staff, you requested a copy of a memorandum by M. I. Cotton, from which you quoted.
At the time, we stated that we could not locate the document, but that we would search for it. We have finally located the memorandum containing the language which you quoted.
It is enclosed.
However, the author is Ivan Catton, not M. I.
Cotton.
In the future, you must be sure that the information which you supply the Staff to identify a document is accurate.
Needless to say, if, as in this case, the information you supply is inaccurate, the task of retreiving the docunent is rendered very difficult and time consuming.
