Dear Mr. Heishman:
PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket Nos. 50-282 and 50-306 In response to your letter of March 3,1980, which transmitted Inspection Reports No. 50-282/80-01 and 50-306/80-01, the following is offered:
The event which resulted in the infractions was discussed with members of your office on February 26, 1980.
Corrective Actions taken are as described in the Inspection Reports and the Licensee Event Report for RO 80-1.
Cor-rective Actions were:
1.
Revision to the section work instruction SWI-0-10, Use of the Operations Manual, dated January 8.
The revision requires that for procedures that are applicable to either unit, the valve and numbers and para-meters that are not applicable to the unit on which the procedure is to be performed shall be designated by drawing a line through them.
2.
Revision to SWI-0-3, Safeguards Hold Cards and Component Blocking or Locking, dated January 7, 1980.
The revision requires that installa-tion and removal of Safeguards Hold Tags shall be logged and that any removed lock or block and its safeguards hold tag shall be delivered to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
3.
The event and its significance were discussed with the. individuals involved.
It is felt full compliance has been achieved at this time.
