The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 58 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-49 issued to Iowa Electric Light and Power Company, Central Iowa Power Cooperative, and Corn j
Belt Power Cooperative, which revises the Technical Specifications for operation of the Duane Arnold Energy Center, located in Linn County, Iowa.
The amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.
The amendment incorporates provisions into the Technical Specifications for (1) modifications associated with degraded grid voltage protection, (2) installation of the end-of-cycle recirculation pump trip, (3) modifi-cation of a reactor protection instrumentation set point, and (4) modifica-tions associated with the containment suppression chamber.
The applications for the amendment comply with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.

declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
