On April 15, 1980, Houston Lighting and Power Company, acting on behalf of itself and the other Applicants in the referenced proceeding, filed a motion for an order compelling Intervenor, Citizens Concerned About Nuclear Power (CCANP), to provide more complete answers to interroga-t) ries dated January 25, 1980.

In the NRC Staff's view, Applicants' motion for an order compelling more complete answers involves a matter of discovery between the Applicants and CCANP. Accordingly, we take no position with respect I

to the motion and by this letter inform the Board that the Staff will not submit a response to the motion.
