Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Company Docket No. 50-10 Docket No. 50-237 Docket No. 50-249 Based on the inspection conducted on February 20-22, 26, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below.
Items 1 and 2 are deficiencies.
1.
According to Technical Specification 4.8.E.1, the licensee is required as part of the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program to collect and analyze a fish sample for gamma isotopic activity semi-annually.
Contrary to the above, the licensee failed to collect and conduct the required analysis of a fish sample during the first half of 1978.
2.
According to Technical Specification 6.6.C.2.a.(2), the licensee is required as part of the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program to report in the Annual Operating Report the results of the collection and analysis of a fish sample on a quarterly basis.
Contrary to the above, the licenst a failed to report in the 1978 Annual Report the analytical results of fish samples collected during the second half of 1978.
