Dear Sir:
Enclosed are eight copies of a SAR to support our relicensing effort to allow the University of Missouri Research Reactor to use the General Electric Company Model 700 Cask to ship irradiated MURR fuel elements to the U. S.
Department of Energy, Savannah River Plant for reprocessing. This report is a combination of our initial submittal on January 10, 1979 and the revisions to Sections 1 and 5 submitted May 22, 1979.
Section 4.0 (Shielding Evaluation) of our SAR has been expanded to incorporate data obtained from our recent series of spent fuel shipments.
