I appreciated your forwarding a copy of the report of the Governor's Commission on Three Mile Island.
You can be sure that I am giving it my close personal attention.
My colleagues and I are committed to assurir; that the cleanup of the TMI-2 facility is conducted as expeditiously as possible consistent with the need to protect the public health and safety.
As you know, the Commission recently established a Special Task Force to evaluate the cleanup operations at TMI-2.
I am advised that a copy of the Task Force Report has been fonvarded to you.
We will be considering its reccamendations carefully in the coming days.
