NRC ISE Bulletin 79-18 Audibility Problems in High Noise Areas

Dear Mr. Grier:
i in the referenced response, it was stated that the corrective actions for accessible areas would be completed by February 15, 1980 (120 days from the date of the response).
However, some of the material ordered from Gaitronics Corporation has not yet been received.
The shipment is due this week.
As soon as the equipment is received, the plant staff will complete the corrective ar.tions.
Therefore, an extension of the completion date to March 7,1980 is requested.
As previously stated in the referenced letter, the areas which are considered inaccessible due to high radiation during plant operation, will be completed during the next refueling outage.
