REVIEW OF "AS-BUILT" FOUNDATION DETAILS Plant Name: Alvin W. Vogtle, Units 1 and 2 Docket Utrnbers: 50-424/427 Licensing Stage: Post CP TAC Number: 5347 Milestone Number: 8-18 Description of Request: Review af as-built foundations In accordance with your. request contained in your memorandum dated February 6,1980, we have reviewed the structural aspects of the subject matter. We find that the effetts of erosion, if properly repaired, should not be significant with regard to safety related structures.
We find also that, although lowering of the base mat of the auxiliary building to elevation 109'-3" from elevation 130'-0" and that 64wth6ng titA base mat of the control building base mat to elevation of 173'-0" from elevation 177'-0" do not represent design changes, these changes are deviations from PSAR. These structures should be analysed for t u as-built conditions.
