Dear Ms. Strong:
This is in reply to your inquiries regarding NRC monitoring of INP0 activities and operator training dated January 2,1980.
The Institute for Nuclear Power Operations has not, as of the date of this letter, developed specific procedures and criteria for monitoring operator training programs.
As INF0 develops these procedures and criteria, we will review them to assure ourselves that they address our concerns and meet our regulations.
The Office of Inspection and Enforcement will assure that any comitments made by the utilities are being met.
