This is in further response to your letter dated December 7,1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, all information related to construction of a gas centrifuge enrichment plant by Pakistan and negotiations regarding Pakistan's efforts to acquire nuclear weapons-useable material or nuclear expo?sive devices.

We have located in our files two documents which were originated by the Central Intelligence Agency and one document originated by the Defense Intelligence Agency. These documents have been referred to the appropriate agency for review and direct response to you.
