LICENSEE'S RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR HEARING FILED BY STEVEN C.
SHOLLY By' petition dated March 21, 1980, Steven C. Sholly re-quests a hearing and asserts his interest therein, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.714, in order to evaluate whether proposed modifica-tions to the TMI Unit 2 Technical Specifications issued by order dated February 11, 1980, are necessary and sufficient for the maintenance of the facility to protect the public health and safety, and to minimize the danger to life and property, and whether the provisions of the Order would significantly affect the quality of the human environment.
See February 11, 1980 Order, 45 Fed. Reg. 11282 et seq. (February 20, 1980).
Licensee does not oppose Petitioner's request at this time, pending receipt of Mr. Sholly's contentions, and the bases therefor.
See 10 CFR 2.714 (.b).
In order to determine whether the hearing requested by Mr.
Sholly (and others) is to be held, and if held the scope and scheduling for such a hearing, Licensee respectfully urges that an Atomic Safety and Licensing Board _ be promptly empanelled i
