Dear Mr. Helfrich:
This is in reference to license application XUO8441 for the export of 50,000 kilograms of depleted uranium to condition 2 countries for use as counter-weights in aircraft. This application was transmitted to the Executive Branch for review on December 21, 1978.
By telephone conversation on March 20, 1980, Mr. Bob Gallagher of NL Industries requested that this license application be returned without action as a revised application will be submitted at a later date.
