For the reasons stated in the enclosed " Director's Decision under 10 CFR 2.206",

your request for action dated February 27, 1980 is denied. A copy of this decision will be filed with the Secretary for the Comission's review in accordance with 10 CFR 2.206(c) of the Commission's regulations.

I have also received your petition of February 25, 1980, which requested pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 certain actions regarding radiation monitoring and emergency planning at Three Mile Island Unit 2.

This petition is under con-sideration and appropriate action will be taken in the near future.
