Construction Component Failure Operator Other (specify)
X Neutralizing tank draining into discharge fiume at time of sampling.
Arkansas River (discharge) more turbid than Illinois Bayou (intake).
9.
Analysis of Occurrence:
The neutralizing tank contains water impurities remaining after regenerating condensate demineralizers and the plant makeup water demineralizers was being drained into the discharge flume when samples were taken. Turbid conditions of the Arkansas River are beyond control of ANO operation.
