Description of Occurrence:
1 During routine fish impingement monitoring 12/12/74 using procedure

1607.10, Monitoring Fish Impinged on ANO-1 Intake Screens, 2777 pounds of fish were collected during an 8-hour sample period.
The projected fish kil1 for the 24-hour period beginning at 8:00 a.m.
12/12/74 and ending at 8:00 a.m. 12/13/74 was 8331 pounds based on the 8-hour sample, A mixture of gi::ard and chreadfin shad made up 99.7S. of the total i
weight. Threadfin shad mr.de up 98.6's of the total number of shad.

Analysis of Occurrence:
\\s The only noticeable Environmental Impact was the removal of the above mentioned fish from the lake.-
The fish that were collected were dis-posed of through land fill operation. The fish that were not collected were disposed of through the trash disposal system.

- 10. Corrective Action:
l Long term studies are in progress to determine the effects of plant operation on the aquatic ecosystems of the Dardanelle Reservoir. Data from this report and other data obtained is fed back into these studies to determine what changes might be made to the studies in order to ensure that adequate data is obtained for evaluating plant impact.
