This letter is to supplement our response to Item 6 of IE Bulletin 79-13 which was sent to you in my letters dated July 26 and August 27, 1979. This letter is intended to address our response to Revision 2 of IE Bulletin 79-13.

Under the heading of Item 2.a. we would like to add the following:

Radiography was performed on each of the feedwater piping welds beyond the first support and irchiding the feedwater pipe to containment penetration weld.

The feedwater containment penetration is a flued head sec-tion as shown on Figure 3.8-8 of the Farley Plant FSAR.

The weld that attaches the flued head to the containment liner plcte was not radiographed because it is not part of the feedwater piping pressure boundary.

A copy of FSAR Figure 3.8-8 is attached for your use. The actual details of the feedwater flued head section can be reviewed on drawing

U-199399 at the plant.
