ORDER RELIEVING GEORGE AND ANNA GRABOWSKI 0F 20-COPY REOUIREMENT At the special prehearing conference on March 12, 1980, the Board was requested to relieve joint petitioners George and Anna Grabowski of'the 20-copy requirement of 10 C.F.R. 5 7.708(d).
The Board asked the Staff attorney to ascertain the number of copies that pro se participants had been permitted to file in other proceedings.
By letter dated March 21, 1980, he responded, citing three cases in which intervenors were permitted to file single copies on each participant (in one case, excluding the intervenors who were in turn served by the Secretary), the Board and the Secretary of the Commission.
The Board Chairman's own review indicates that in two of the three cases (including one which he chairs) the Secretary receives the original plus at least one copy, and that requiring the service of the original plus one copy on the Secretary generally ensures that at least one of the Secretary's copies is capable of being reproduced.
8 004100$0h Petitioners Anna and George Grabowski shall henceforth serve single copies of all submissions on each party and the Board, and the original and one copy o'n the Secretary of the commission.
They shall further be relieved of serving a copy on any party which notifies the Board in writing that it is willing to wait for the Secretary's reproduction of the original.
