Dear Mr. Grier:
The enclosed report constitutes our h5-day response to the subject Bulletin, whi::h was received by us on January 17, 1980. The report reflects the clarifications received from NRC via telecopier on February 28, 1980 and is structured as follows:
Section A (Bulletin Item 1): This section is a " master list" of the safety-related electrical equipment which is exposed to harsh environments as a result of LOCA or HELB including areas where fluids are recirculated from inside containment to accomplish long-term cooling following a LOCA.
Section B (Bulletin Item 2): This section contains the system comoonent evaluation work sheets for the equipment listed in Section A of the report.
Items not having adequate qualification data available are indicated by "NTEl" on the work sheet. This action should be completed by May 31, 1980.
Section C (Bulletin Item 3): This section provides a tabulation of the service conditions to which the equipment may be exposed. We have provided the maximum parameter for each value in our tabulation; therefore the parameter shown in the report may be greater than that required for the equipment requirements.
