DOCKET NUM2ER go.D._(UTIL. F.30 0.'..

Mrs. Malcolm R. Longshore S31 Running Brook Road, Jenkintown, Penna.19016 Feb. 23, 1980 Commissioners U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C. 20555 c

Dear Sirs:

I urge that all reactors including Limerick should come under the new recula-tions as set by the N.R.C.

The new rectu-lations state that the N.R.C. may not al-low reactors to operate in densely popula-ted areas.

At this time 65,000 people live witnin a 5-mile radius, 150,000 at 10 mi., 775,000 at 20 mi. and 3.6 million at 30 mi. from the Limerick plants.

{

Limerick is classified as the 2nd i

most dangerous site for location of a nu-elear reactor.

It is criminal to permit a nuclear reactor to operate in such an area.

The Commissioners special concern should be the health and safety of the public.

I urge that construction at Lim-e topped immediately.
