Docket No. 70-2623
Dear Members of the Board:
On November 7,1979, the NRC Staff transmitted certain routing information to the Commission for its use in the consideration of the NRC Staff petition then before the Commission on the routing issue.
Subsequently, this same routing information was transmitted to parties executing affidavits committing to hold that information in confidence. That information consisted of the following:
Proposed Transportation Routes Oconee to McGuire (written route description - one sheet);
A cover sheet, package of eight (8) maps presenting routes and a Route Summary (10 sheets).
In light of the Commission's Order of February 29, 1980 denying the Staff's petition and terminating the effectiveness of the Commission's interim protective Order of September 7,1979 and those affidavits of non-disclosure i
which had been signed by parties participating on the issue, copies of the above described information is hereby served upon the Board and the other parties to this proceeding.

In addition, enclosed is the NRC Staff testimony of R. Daniel Glenn and C. Vernon Hodge which evaluates the effect of route changes on the values presented in the Staff's Environmental Impact Appraisal related to Spent Fuel Storage of Oconee Spent Fuel at McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Spent Fuel Pool. Table 3 attached to that testimony identifies the routes used in the analysis.
It is contemplated that this testimony will be presented at the next session of hearings in this proceeding.
