RE: Changes to Operating License No. NPF-2 Technical Specification Alabama Power Company proposes the attached changes to the Joseph M.
Farley Nuclear Plant Operating License No. NPF-2 Technical Specifications involving the following items.
Technical Specification Figures 6.2-1 and 6.2-2 and Technical Specification 6.5.1.2, 6.5.1.8, 6.5.2.2 and 6.5.3.1 concerning changes in company organiza-tion and responsibilities, e
Technical Specification Figure 3.2-3 and Bases 2.1.1 concerning a change in rod bow penalty calculation for determining F The Plant Operations Review Committee and the Nuclear Operations Review Board have reviewed the above proposed changes and have determined that the changes do not involve an unreviewed safety question as shown in the attached safety evaluations.
The class of this proposed amendment is designated in accordance with l
10 CFR Part 170 as a Class III change in that it is deemed not to involve a significant hazard consideration. A check for $4,000 is enclosed to cover required fees.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.30(c)(1)(1), three (3) signed originals and thirty-seven (37) additional copies of this proposed amendment are enclosed.
