Docket No. 50-482/IE Bulletin 77-02 Ref:

Letter of 11/8/77 from KG&E to Office of Inspection and Enforcement, Region IV, NRC

Dear Sir:

This letter supplements the Kansas Gas and Electric Company response in the Reference concerning IE Bulletin No. 77-02.

The Reference only indicated that Westinghouse type AR relays would not be used in the Westinghouse supplied Solid State Protection System at Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No.1.

The Bulletin requested information on the use of the relays in all safety-related systeri. We have since confirmed that the relays are not used in any Wolf Creek safety-related applications.

very respectfully,
