DOCKET NO. 50-312 The attached report by our field inspectors of a visit to the construction site of the subject facility on October 21-22, 1969 is forwarded for information. Emphasis was placed on a review of the concrete manufacture and testing. No items of noncompliance or of safety significance were noted during the visit. However, a number of deficiencies were identified for which a Construction Deficiency Notice will be issued pending review and l
concurrence by Compliance Headquarters.
We believe that our inspection results were a bit of a shocker.to SMUD.
However, SMUD Management reacted favorably to our observations and we expect that corrective action will be taken on all identified items.
