Dear Mr. Engelken:
In your letter dated July 2,1975 you noted an area that appeared to be in violation of our NRC Facility l_icense No. DPR-54 as indicated below:
Contrary to Technical Specification 6.8.1, approved procedure AP 26, "Ahnormal Tag Procedure," was not adhered to for the control of jumpers and bypasses installed during the operation and maintenance of safety related equipment on components.
The procedural requirement that the shift supervisor sign each abnormal tag prior to issuance and retain the stub from the tag had not been implemented.
Administrative Procedure AP-26 was placed in operation on July 2, 1975.
The Quality Assurance Director will audit within 30 days j
to ensure compliance that all corrective steps connected with AP-26 have been taken and will notify the Plant Superintendent and Assistant General Manager and Chief Engineer of any non-compliance.
