METROPOLITAN EDIS0N COMPANY, THREE MILE ISLAND, UNIT 2, DOCKET NO. 50-320, LICENSE N0. DPR-73 Conditions specified in License No. DPR-73 require items to be completed to the satisfaction of the Commission prior to achieving certain speci-fied operating conditions and dates.

The purpose of this memorandum is to infonn you that the !1ffica of Inspection and Enforcement has verified acceptable completion of those items required to enter Operational Mode 2.
Additionally, the Office of Inspection and Enforcement recommends the permission to enter Operational Mode 2 be withheld pending issuance of a 3 waiver for AMSE Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section XI Class 1, 2, 3 components.
