The Comittee re riewed:
1.
ATWS, and while generally concurring with the staff's technical assessment of this issue, requested additional specificity with regard to the implementation recomendations proposed by the staff (both backfit and frontfit) before a Comittee recommendation is made.
In particular, the Comittee suggested that serious consideration be given 'to a two-phase (i.e. short tern and long tem) implementation plan and schedule.
The Comittee also suggested that consideration be given to augmentation of the value-impact analysis in support of the revised implementation recomendations.
2.
Proposed Anendment to 10 CFR Part 50.55a
" CODES AND STANDARDS" dated June 22,1978, and recommended approval.
The third item on the agenda was deferred to the next meeting.
The fourth item on the agenda was withdrawn by the originator.
