Proposed Change to Revision 1 to Eagulatory Guide 1.118, " PERIODIC TESTING OF ELEX:TRIC POWER AND PROTECTION SYSTDiS", dated July 14, 1977.-
2e original proposed revision 1, dated February 28, 1977, was reviewed by the Comittee at Meeting No. 61, April 13,1977, and recomended for approval, with a Category 1 - No backfit characterization.
Further staff discussion has resulted in a change to the original proposed revision, and a new proposed revision dated July 14, 1977 was referred back for Comittee consideration. h e proposed revision 1, dated July 14, 1977, was reviewed and reccTsended for approval by the Comittee with the following coment:
a.
Enphasis should be added to the caution in C.7 concerning the use of simulated signals to preclude any adverse safety impact of such simulated perturbations.
ne Comittee reaffirmed its previous categorization of this proposed revision as Category 1 - No backfit.
Proposed hulatory Guide 1.XX [RS-070-4) " DIESEL GENERATOR FUEL OIL 2.
SYSTDtS", dated July 19, 1977, and recomended approval.
The Comittee characterized this proposed regulatory guide as follows:
Category 1 - Forward fit of all provisions of the guide for all new CP applications docketed after inplementation date shown in published guide.
Category 2 - Further s"aff consideration of individual cases required in order to determine the need for backfitting of:

Proposed Addition to the Standard Review Plan: Section 1.8, "ItTIERFACES FOR STREARD DESIGIS", dated July 19, 1977, and recommended approval of the proposed new SRP including the publication of NUREG-0102 dated May 1977, as an appendix to Regulatory Guide 1.70, Rev. 2, when next the guide is updated (estimated for early 1978).
The Comittee characterized. this proposed new SRP as Category 1 - No backfit.
