- StNMARY OF REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS P.EVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING NO. 65, JULY 12,1977 The Committee reviewed:
1.
Request for RRRC Review of Regulatory Guide " NORMAL WATER LEVEL AND DISCHARGE AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS", dated May 6,1977, and recommended approval.
The Committee characterized this guide as Category 1 - No backfit.
2.
Proposed Revision 2 Regulatory Guide 1.39, " HOUSEKEEPING REQUIREMENTS 3
FOR WATER COOLED NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS", dated May 6,1977, and recommended approval subject to the following comment:
a.
Section C.2 of the proposed revision should indicate that the guide does not rely on Subdivision 3.2.3 of ANSI N45.2.3-1973 and the reference to Subdivision 3.2.3 in the discussion section of the proposed revision should be deleted.
The Committee characterized this guide as, Category-1-No.hackfit.
3.
Radiological Assessment Branch Technical Position Regarding RADIOLOGICAL ENVIROM4 ENTAL MONITORING dated June 9,1977, and h
4:'s, recommended approval of the Branch Technical Position and the proposed implementation.
The Committee suggested that the Environmental Protection Agency be infomed of our actions in this matter.
The first item of the agenda was defer d to a later meeting.
