1.
For existing nuclear power plants, whenever replacement of the Radiation Protection Manager is proposed, the revised qualifications for the Radiation Protection Manager as specified in the guide will be used by the NRC staff in evaluating the qualifications of the proposed replacement.
2.
The Technical Specifications for existing nuclear power plants should be amended to reflect the applicability of these qualification guidelines for any replacement of the Radiation Protection Manager.
